Trackman Joins IPC as VP of Special Projects

Edward Trackman has joined the IPC -- Association Connecting Electronics Industries as vice president of special projects.

Trackman began his engineering career in the automotive industry at General Motors Research Laboratories. His experience includes positions of increasing responsibilities with the automotive operations division of Rockwell International, the OEM group at Harman International, and Panasonic Automotive.

In 2003, Trackman joined Bose Corp. and most recently, served as senior vice president of development at Golden Key International Honour Society, instituting new goals and strategies for corporate partnerships.

Trackman earned a B.E. in mechanical engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art; an M.S. in engineering design from California Institute of Technology, and his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Northwestern University. He also received an M.B.A. from the Advanced Management Program at Michigan State University.

Trackman has six U.S. patents and related foreign patents, and has published more than 20 articles.
