The new Electrolux Ergorapido 2-in-1 vacuum cleaner for the European market includes a new Brushrollclean technology that is designed as the first system for removing the fibers and hairs that get tangled on the brush roll.

Electrolux consumer studies showed users get frustrated when hair and fibers get stuck in the brush roll, finding them unpleasant to remove as well as reducing the appliance's cleaning performance.

The user presses a pedal on top of the nozzle to activate a blade, which removed the tangled hairs and fibers by cutting them into small pieces and sucking them into the dust cup.

"Ergorapido is the most-sold cordless hand-stick in Europe. With the new Brushrollclean Technology, we have managed to give it an innovative upgrade that solves a time-consuming problem for users," said Kerstin Peterson, vice president for Product Line Instant Cleaning at Electrolux.
