GE appointed two new company officers, including a new officer reporting to the head of its appliance-making unit, GE Home & Business Solutions.
GE has 196 officers globally who lead large revenue generating businesses or help drive growth.
One of the new GE company officers is Larry Biagini, who reports to Charlene Begley, president and CEO, GE Home & Business Solutions. Begley has more than 20 years of IT experience at GE and has held positions in GE Capital, GE Aviation, and GE Corporate. In 1998, he was named Chief Technology Officer of GE, responsible for driving the technology direction across the enterprise. In 2001, he became Chief Information Officer (CIO) for GE Corporate. In 2005, he became CIO of GE Money and was later named CIO at GE Capital. He assumed his current role as GE's IT Security & Compliance Officer in 2010.
Anne Lynch, 43, was appointed as a GE Company Officer and reports to Tom Gentile, senior vice president and CEO, GE Healthcare Systems.
