Miele's exhibit at the 2012 Eurocucina expo will feature the world's fastest integrated dishwasher, internationally known chefs working on new Miele built-in appliances, and a cafe in a cube with seating for 100.

Eurocucina 2012 takes place at the Fiera Milano Exhibition Centre in Milan April 17-22, 2012.

The focal point of Miele's new booth is a large, highly visible cube (pictured), whose exterior is designed to represent the virtues of consistency, dependability and longevity. The cube's interior is large enough to house a cafe with seating for about 100 guests.

Miele appliance ensembles in the exhibit will include stainless steel (CleanSteel), brilliant white, jet black, and "Ice."

The entrance to the exhibit space includes appliances suites in jet black and Ice, each serving as a stage for a visiting chef.

Miele intends to introduce several product innovations for the first time at Eurocucina. Among them: new gas-on-glass hobs (cooktops) and a line of gas hobs with near-flush stainless-steel surrounds.

Miele sees a trend towards full integration of kitchen appliances and is addressing this need with a new ceiling vent extractor.

In addition, a new generation of slim cooker hoods, concealed behind wall unit frontage, will be showcased. High-end models have a slim canopy that is pulled down and clear of the wall unit when needed.

The company will also be presenting what it calls the fastest fully integrated dishwasher in the world, using commercial-grade technology to wash loads in only 17 minutes.

Another display of built-in appliances will showcase the convenience and user benefits of networking domestic appliances. This presentation includes a Smart Grid ready dishwasher able to save cash by exploiting variable electricity rates.
