The 64th International Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Exposition had the highest attendance of any AHR Expo and also set the record for the biggest show in terms of space. The expo was held Jan. 23-25, 2012, at Chicago's McCormick Place.

The 2012 show had almost 40,000 registered visitors. Add exhibitor personnel and other attendees and the number of people participating in the 2012 expo climbs to more than 58,000. Based on preliminary registration, organizers said the 2012 AHR easily surpassed the previous record, set for the New York City show in 2008 with 38,534 visitors.

2012 was also the largest AHR expo in terms of space, filling nearly 430,000 square feet to make the show not quite 5% bigger than the 2006 Chicago show.

1,968 exhibiting companies, from 35 countries, showcased their products and technologies at the expo, nearly as many as the record of 1,989 exhibitors set at the 2006 Chicago Show.

The 2013 AHR Expo will be held Jan. 28-30, 2013, in Dallas, TX.
