Electrolux Creates Professional-Domestic Business Unit; Malmgren Heander Will Lead

Carina Malmgren Heander was named Senior Vice President and Head of a new Professional-Domestic business unit at appliance maker Electrolux, based in Stockholm. Lars Worsøe Petersen will succeed Malmgren Heander in her former position as Senior Vice President of Group Staff Human Resources and Organizational Development for Electrolux.
Malmgren Heander will lead a new business unit within Electrolux that will leverage the benefits of the Group’s Professional heritage and bring it to the consumer market. She will report to the CEO.
Malmgren Heander has been Senior Vice President of Group Staff Human Resources and Organizational Development for Electrolux since 2007. Before joining Electrolux she was Senior Vice President Human Resources for Sandvik AB, a global industrial group.
Worsøe Petersen has been Head of Group Staff Human Resources at Husqvarna AB since 2005. Prior to the divestment of Husqvarna from Electrolux in 2006 he held several senior management roles in Electrolux, including Head of Human Resources for Major Appliances in North America. He will report to the CEO and be a member of Group Management.
The changes take effect on Oct. 15, 2011.
