Magnus Yngen has retired from his position as CEO and president of Husqvarna and resigned from the company's board of directors.
Yngen took a leave of absence starting for health reasons starting in June 2011. Hans Linnarson, executive vice president, head of sales Europe & Asia/Pacific, was appointed acting CEO and president and has held both positions since that time.
Husqvarna has begun a search for a permanent new CEO and president and will consider both internal and external candidates. Linnarson will continue to serve as acting president and CEO until a permanent replacement is named.
“We thank Magnus Yngen for his important contribution to Husqvarna and wish him good luck in his future endeavors. The search process is initiated and in the mean time we are very pleased that Hans Linnarson remains acting CEO," said Lars Westerberg, chairman of the board.
