Global small appliances maker Spectrum Brands Holdings, Inc. (Madison, WI, U.S.) said its Russell Hobbs division extended its trademark license agreement for the Black & Decker brand through December 31, 2015 with Stanley Black & Decker, Inc.

Russell Hobbs licenses the Black & Decker brand in North America, Latin America (excluding Brazil), and the Caribbean for four core categories of household appliances:
• beverage products
• food preparation products

• cooking products

Russell Hobbs has licensed the Black & Decker brand since 1998 for use in marketing various household small appliances. In December 2007, Russell Hobbs and Black & Decker extended the trademark license agreement for a third time through December 2012, with a potential extension through December 2014. The new agreement extends the licensing arrangement through December 31, 2015.
