U.S. production of major plastic resins totaled 6.4 billion lb in January 2011, an increase of 3.7% compared to January 2010, according to statistics from the American Chemistry Council (ACC).
Sales and captive (internal) use of major plastic resins totaled 6.0 billion lb in January 2011, a decrease of 4.1% from January 2010.
