Toshiba Buys Remaining Stake in TCL Joint Venture Aug 13, 2008 |

Toshiba Corp. bought the remaining 10% stake in its household appliance joint venture with TCL Corp. for about 200 million yen (approx. US$1.83 million).
Toshiba owned 90% of the joint venture, Toshiba HA Manufacturing Co.
Toshiba HA Manufacturing began operations in July 2006, with production now having reached 900,000 refrigerators and 750,000 washing machines a year.
