iRobot Corp., maker of home appliance robots and military robots, said strong overseas demand drove a 70% year-over-year increase in full-year 2010 international home robot revenue. International home robot revenue of $151 million comprised 66% of total home robot revenue.

Full year 2010 Home Robots revenue was $229,348,000, compared to $165,860,000 in 2009.

Full year 2010 domestic U.S. Home Robots revenue was $77,918,000, compared to $76,705,000 in 2009. International Home Robots revenue in 2010 was $151,430,000, compared to $89,155,000 in 2009.

Retail sales accounted for $203,026,000 in 2010, compared to $137,438,000 in 2009. Direct sales in 2010 accounted for $26,322,000, compared to $28,422,000 in 2009.

iRobot reported that total fourth quarter 2010 revenue increased 12% to $114.0 million, compared with $101.7 million for the same quarter one year ago. Revenue for the full year 2010 increased 34% to $401.0 million from $298.6 million for the full year 2009.

Net income in the fourth quarter of 2010 was $7.0 million, compared to $5.1 million in the fourth quarter of 2009. Net income for the full year 2010 was $25.5 million, compared with $3.3 million in 2009.
