U.S. Appliance Store Sales Up Slightly Dec-Jan Feb 15, 2011 |

The U.S. Census Bureau reported that adjusted Electronics & Appliance Store sales in January 2011 were $8,436 million, up slightly from $8,414 in December 2010 and down slightly from $8,461 in January 2010.
Estimates of sales are adjusted for seasonal variation and holiday and trading-day differences, but not for price changes.
January 2011 non-adjusted sales were $7,844 million, down slightly from $7,899 in January 2010.
