Freidheim Will Lead Sears’ Kenmore Appliance Business

U.S. retail giant Sears Holdings named Scott Freidheim EVP and President - Kenmore, Craftsman & DieHard. Sears Holdings operates the Sears and Kmart retail chains and is considered to be the biggest retailer of major appliances in the United States. It operates 3900 full-line and specialty retail stores in the United States and Canada. Its Kenmore brand is one of the biggest selling major appliance brands in the U.S.
"Scott is a strong leader who will heighten our focus on our Kenmore,
Craftsman and DieHard brands," said Bruce Johnson, interim CEO and
president of Sears Holdings.
Scott will continue to serve as a member of the internal holding company business unit board.
Scott was with Lehman Brothers for over 17 years before he joined Sears in 2009 as EVP, Operating and Support.
