Chavan Named President of Emerson Climate, Middle East and Africa

Pratap Chavan was named president of Emerson Climate Technologies, Inc. – Middle East and Africa. He will focus on expanding the engineering, production, and customer synergies between Emerson Climate Technologies, Inc. organizations in Middle East, India, and China.

Chavan joined Copeland in 1981 and held a number of positions in engineering, product planning, international marketing, and sales. He held the titles of vice president of marketing and sales – Europe and vice president and managing director – Middle East and Africa. Chavan holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from I.I.T. Bombay, India, a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Kentucky, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Dayton.
