August Electronics & Appliance Store Sales $8.5 Billion Sep 21, 2010 |

The U.S. Census Bureau reported that adjusted Electronics & Appliance Store sales in August 2010 were $8.552 billion, down slightly from the revised figure of $8.645 billion for July 2010 but significantly higher than $8.198 in August 2009.
"Adjusted" estimated monthly sales are adjusted for seasonal variation and holiday and trading-day differences, but not for price changes.
The Census Bureau reported that not-adjusted Electronics & Appliance Store sales in August 2010 were $ 8.254 billion, up from $8.165 billion for July 2010 and higher than $7.969 in August 2009. Eight-month total sales were $64.022, up 2.7% from the same period in 2009.
