Thermador Named Best Kitchen at Vesta Home Showcase

Thermador and a local appliance distributor exhibited its line of luxury appliances to win the Best Kitchen award at the 2010 Vesta Designer Home Showcase. Vesta is an annual public trade show presented by the Memphis Area Home Builders Association (MAHBA) and was held June 19- July 5, 2010. It is the third Best Home award for Thermador in the last five years.

In 2010 Thermador partnered with Cenwood Appliance Distributors to provide appliances for the Vieux Carré (the original name for the French Quarter in Louisiana) show home. Built by The Longtown Company, the home is designed by Jeff Bramlett Custom Residential Design to exemplify the classic French Colonial architecture prevalent to pre-colonial Louisiana. Thermador appliances were also featured in the Elenor designer home.

“MAHBA’s recent accolades for a Thermador-equipped kitchen reaffirms the strength of the Thermador brand among home designers, architects and builders looking to provide the ultimate cooking experience for their clients,” said Zach Elkin, director, Luxury Division, Thermador.

The Vieux Carré home kitchen features professional-grade Thermador appliances designed for the culinary enthusiast who’s passionate about cooking and entertaining. Appliances included:
-built-in 30-inch Masterpiece Series Combination Oven with a microwave, True Convection Oven, and warming drawer
-48-inch Pro Harmony Dual-Fuel Range with the Thermador Star Burner
-48-inch Professional Series Wall Hood
-24-inch Masterpiece Series Emerald 6-Program Stainless Steel Dishwasher
-42-inch Masterpiece Series Stainless Steel Side-By-Side Refrigerator with External Ice Dispenser

Thermador is part of BSH Home Appliances Corp., which is a fully owned subsidiary of Germany's Bosch and Siemens Home Appliance Group
