Molex Inc. Global Product Manager Wai Kiong Poon is presenting a technical paper today, Aug. 18, 2010, at the 5th Annual Flash Memory Summit in Santa Clara, CA. The paper, Solid State Storage: A Connector Perspective, is part of Flash Technology Session 104 and will focus on the critical role played by connectors in the development of solid state storage devices and systems. Connectors are used to bridge the gap in circuit design, allowing the current to flow seamlessly through the circuit to perform its intended function. Wai Kiong will discuss the conceptualization and design of a Dual Stack Right Angle Micro SAS Connector for the small form factor 1.8-inch drives, as well as its mechanical and electrical performance in satisfying the stringent demands of solid state storage development.
