Outdoor power equipment maker Ariens Company, in Brillion, WI, U.S., held a job fair to fill 200 seasonal positions according to a report from WBAY-TV, an ABC affiliate in Green Bay, WI.

An article by Marcie Kobriger said it was the first-ever job fair for Ariens, mostly to fill assembly, fabrication, part-picking, and other roles in the manufacturing of snow blowers for the winter 2010-2011 selling season. Ariens plans to produce 1000 snow blowers a day during the summer of 2010.

Ariens has actually been bringing some new manufacturing in-house. Ariens' Jeff Hebbard, quoted in the WBAY-TV article, said the company used to outsource snow blower handlebars but has added equipment to bring part production in-house, and added staff to accommodate the change.
