LG Electronics announced new initiatives and energy efficient products aimed at expanding the company's U.S. commercial and residential HVAC business at AHR Expo, being held this week in Orlando, FL, U.S.

The appliance company has also opened two commercial air conditioning training academies – one outside of Atlanta, GA, U.S. and one in California – with plans to open two other academies later this year. The training academies focus on educating trade partners on the company’s advanced applied commercial products, duct-free and energy efficient solutions and other products that can broaden contractors' portfolio.

"LG Electronics has been one of the world's largest producers of air conditioners and here in the United States, we are building on this global leadership position and looking to grow the business in this market," said Kelly Cutchins, vice president, Commercial Air Conditioning, LG Electronics USA, Inc. "Illustrating that commitment this week, we have energy efficient heating and cooling solutions that blend effortlessly into a wide range of commercial and residential environments.
