Tecumseh Names New VP, Seeking New CFO

Tecumseh Products Company, a manufacturer of compressors for the residential refrigeration and HVAC industries, named Michael A. Noelke executive vice president, sales, marketing and engineering.

Noelke joins Tecumseh from the Sporlan Division of Parker Hannifin Corp., Washington, Mo., where he was global vice president, business development. He replaces Pat Canavan, formerly vice president of global sales and marketing, who left Tecumseh Products at the end of the year.

Tecumseh also announced that James Nicholson, vice president, treasurer, and chief financial officer (CFO), also left the company at the end of the year. The company said it is currently in advanced discussions with a potential replacement for Nicholson.
