W.C. Wood Company will close its Guelph, Canada manufacturing facility immediately, said a record.com reort. A process to liquidate the massive plant’s equipment is underway.

The manufacturer of freezers, fridges and commercial dehumidifiers filed for Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act creditor protection in May, the report said. It also filed for Chapter 15 bankruptcy protection in the United States, where it has facilities in Ohio. There are additional facilities in Ottawa and Mexico.
