ebm-papst's EC R3G500-AF32-11 motorized impeller is used in solar powered air-conditioning unit from Coolerado, which offers significant energy efficiency savings compared to traditional air-conditioners. Coolerado (www.coolerado.com) is based in Denver, CO, and unveiled its new technology in February of this year. A YouTube video demonstrates an off-grid system with a Coolerado air-conditioner cooling 3000 square feet of space with only 600 watts of power, thus requiring only four solar photovoltaic cell panels for power.
