Electrolux and the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission recalled about 320,000 vacuums under the Ergorapido, Pronto, and Precision brand names, to address a problem with batteries that could expand and burst, posing an injury risk.

Electrolux received 34 reports of incidents involving damage to the vacuums and surrounding property. There have been two reports of minor injuries. The products were sold at major and independent U.S. retailers from November 2007 through March 2009, at a price of about US$100 each.
