The organizers of the China Refrigeration 2009 trade show (April 5-7 in Guangzhou) are taking a proactive approach to the economic hardships facing the HVAC&R industry. The steps it is taking include providing more opportunities for companies to exhibit in more economical exhibition areas, each with a specific theme. These include: product innovation and technology-oriented exhibition;
humanities exhibition; technology exhibition ; and eco-friendly exhibition.
Other steps include new seminars and conferences taking place during the exposition.
In addition, CR has stepped up promotional efforts in those developing regions of the world that have not been hit as hard by the financial crisis. It is specifically targeting Brazil, India, South Africa, and Southeast Asian and Middle Eastern markets.
CR organizers detailed their initiatives in a letter to the industry. It is posted in the APPLIANCE Talk blog: www.appliancemagazine.com/blog/?p=39.
