Manitowoc Foodservice, which recently acquired foodservice OEM Enodis, plans to unify its own EnergyMizer program under the EnerLogic. EnerLogic is the energy conservation program launched in 2004 by Enodis to help operators maximize energy savings and profit. It originally covered more than 600 products within the Enodis portfolio of brands and has now expanded to more than 1000, including the Cleveland, Convotherm, Delfield, Frymaster, Garland, Harford, Jackson, Kolpak, Koolaire, Lincoln, Manitowoc Ice, and McCall brands.

Only equipment meeting stringent third-party standards qualifies for the EnerLogic seal. Because different types of equipment have different standards, depending on the type of energy and conservation benefits involved, the EnerLogic program incorporates a combination of third-party standards, including:

• Meeting or exceeding California Energy Commission rebate standards, or

• Being Energy Star rated, or

• Meeting criteria outlined by the U.S. Federal Energy Management Program, including products that incorporate new energy-saving technology, involve renewable energy, demonstrate water efficiency, and/or feature sustainable design and operations.
