Retailer Target announced the opening of 27 new stores including its first two locations in Hawaii. The new stores, which include 21 general merchandise Targets and six full-grocery SuperTargets, will hold a grand opening this Sunday.
The 21 new general merchandise stores feature everyday essentials, including electronics, clothing, food and seasonal merchandise, and offer amenities such as a Starbucks, Target Café, Target Pharmacy, and Target Photo. Each general merchandise store employs 150-250 team members and is approximately 128,000 sq ft in size.
The six new SuperTarget stores offer everything found in a general merchandise store, but also include amenities such as a full grocery selection, fresh produce, bakery and deli. Each SuperTarget store employs 200-300 team members and is approximately 186,000 sq ft in size.
