Consumer electronics sales in the United States slipped 2% in September, according to the NPD Group. In comparison, CE revenue fell 1% in September 2007.
Flat-panel TVs showed the biggest gains in September, up 10% in dollars and 20% in units. D-SLR cameras were a close second in revenue growth, up 9.5%, followed by notebook computers, which increased 9% in dollars and 12% in units.
