Canadian Standards Association (CSA) announced that Quality at Work: Introduction to ISO 9001, an eLearning tool designed to raise awareness about the features and benefits of a Quality Management System, will be made available free to organizations worldwide. The announcement was made at the American Society for Quality (ASQ) World Conference on Quality and Improvement held in Houston, TX.
“CSA believes that the benefits derived from Digital Games Based Learning (DGBL) far surpass traditional approaches to learning”, said Lance Novak, Vice President, Sales, CSA. “By making this product available for free, leaders in the quality management community will have an opportunity to experience these benefits first hand without additional costs.”
Quality at Work: Introduction to ISO 9001, communicates the fundamentals of a quality management system in a way that every employee can understand. The eLearning tool is designed to raise awareness about the features and benefits of a Quality Management System, and reinforce basic principles that will impact every employee as ISO 9001 is implemented.
