Liebherr to Introduce 36-Inch Refrigerator at K/BIS

Appliance maker Liebherr will introduce its first 36-inch refrigerator for the U.S. market at the Kitchen/Bath Industry Show in April.The 2062 series, a French-door, Energy Star-rated platform, will be available in freestanding, fully-integrated, and stainless integrated designs, and is expected to begin shipping in May. Features include a dual refrigeration system with separate variable speed compressors for the refrigerator and the freezer compartments; double freezer drawers on telescopic rails; new LED light columns and enhanced vegetable drawer and freezer drawer LED illumination; advanced water filtration; an increased capacity icemaker that can produce 3.5 pounds of ice in 24 hours and store up to 7 pounds of cubes; an enhanced power cooling system for improved chilling performance; and new 6mm-thick glass shelving that holds up to 180 pounds.
