LG Establishes New Asia-Pacific Headquarters in Singapore

LG Electronics named Singapore as LG’s new Asia Regional Headquarters, which will oversee LG’s Asian operations outside of Korea, including Oceania and South West Asia. Mr. Nam Young Woo, President and Regional CEO, will be in charge of the Asia Regional HQ with regional business management staff supporting service, human resource, supply chain operations, and brand marketing.

Mr. Bae Jae Hoon is appointed as new Managing Director of LG Electronics Singapore (LGESL). On top of his role as MD of LGESL, Mr. Bae will also wield an expanded portfolio overseeing LG’s Representative Subsidiary Operations in Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Philippines.

Mr. Bae replaces the incumbent MD of LGESL Mr. Howard Lee, who will progress into a new role as Managing Director of LG Electronics Thailand (LGETH) after completing a five and a half year stint in Singapore, where he served as Managing Director for two years.
