LG Electronics and Mark Levinson announced their collaboration to develop products that deliver enhanced sound quality and a differentiated, stylish design. Over the past year, LG Electronics worked with the audio legend to develop and personally tune selected premium home theater systems.

The two new LG systems, models AP3133 and LHT888, were demonstrated at the International CES. The AP3133 high-definition AV home theater system features multi-driver floor standing loudspeakers, center channel speaker, surrounds, and a powerful subwoofer. The system includes a 7.1-channel AV receiver with 150Watts X 7 "ICEpower" output stage, Burr-Brown PCM 1796 24bit/192kHz DAC, multi-input HDMI switching with near 1080p upscaling, 1080p pass through, HD Radio capability, and Audessey Auto Room Multi EQ Adjustment. The system is built around LG's "Super Blu"  dual-format player.

For decor-conscious movie-and-music fans, LG Electronics is unveiling its LHT888 home theater system, with loudspeakers that feature multiple drivers in parabolic housings, each with a tapered integrated pedestal. The system includes a 700W 5.1-channel DVD receiver with near 1080p upscaling, built-in wireless kit, USB Media Plus, HDMI output, LG SimpLink(TM) multi-device control (HDMI-CEC), and multi-format playback compatibility.
