LG Electronics Replaces CFO; Creates CPO Position

LG Electronics announced a broad management reshuffle, replacing its chief financial officer (CFO) and chief technology officer (CTO), vice presidents, and creating a new post of chief procurement officer (CPO). The reshuffle, effective beginning in January, also includes the head of its Asia operations.

Jung Do-hyun, who currently leads the company's finance team, will take over as the new CFO. Thomas Linton, currently vice president and CPO of Freescale Semiconductor, will be the new CPO. Paik Woo, currently chief technology advisor, was named chief technology officer (CTO).
