Carrier Corp. Names McDonough President of Residential and Light Commercial Systems

HVAC producer Carrier Corp., a unit of United Technologies Corp., has named Robert (Bob) J. McDonough president of its residential and light commercial systems business. McDonough replaces Halsey Cook, who is leaving the company. Previously, McDonough was president of RLCS Distribution and Aftermarket. Before joining the company, McDonough spent 16 years with Lennox International as president and chief operating officer of Worldwide Heating & Cooling, as well as executive vice president of Lennox International and president, Worldwide Refrigeration and International Operations.
