Grasshopper Receives Innovation Award Nov 2, 2007 |

The Grasshopper Company was presented with a Partnership Award for Excellence in Pioneering Innovation from Parker-Hannifin Corp.
The award is in recognition for The Grasshopper Company's collaborative design and test efforts in the co-development of a new hydrostatic drive system, dubbed T2, which is incorporated into a new AntiVibe Power Platform in certain 2008 models.
The T2 hydrostatic system features a tandem pumps-in-reservoir design with an integral filter, direct-driven from the engine crankshaft, which eliminates many moving parts and increases power transfer efficiency. An inline fan further complements the system's cooling features. The modular design also improves serviceability.
