Motorola Receives Award from the IEEE Standards Association Dec 5, 2006 |

Motorola, Inc. announced it has received the 2006 IEEE Standards Association (IEEE-SA) Corporate Award in recognition of the company’s “outstanding contributions to IEEE standards, which allow people to be mobile and connected across the globe.”
The IEEE-SA Corporate Award is presented each year to an IEEE-SA member organization for providing outstanding leadership and contributions to the IEEE-Standards Association. Motorola’s leadership and support of the IEEE vision has enabled the standards body to reach many strategic goals such as creating the IEEE-SA Corporate Program and strengthening alliances with other standards bodies worldwide.
