
Turkish appliance manufacturer Arçelik Company reported a consolidated turnover of €3.4 billion in the first half of 2007. International sales reached €845 million. The company said it restored its leading position as the third biggest white goods producer in Europe. It noted that sales were particularly strong in Eastern Europe, Russia, CIS Countries, the Middle East, and in North African countries. When compared to the same period of the previous year, in 2007 the company increased its turnover earned from international appliance sales by 27%.
