Haier Opens First Australian Store Oct 30, 2006 |

On Oct. 14, the first Haier authorized store in Australia was opened in Sydney, Australia. Vice Prime Minister and Commerce Minister of Australia Mark Vaile sent a congratulatory letter to Qin Lijun, CEO of Haier Australia Trading Company, and thanked Haier for providing jobs to the local community. The Haier Group has entered main large-scale sales channels in Australia. It is said that the second Haier authorized store will debut in Melbourne in the end of the year.
