Glen Dimplex to Open Global Energy Center

Glen Dimplex, a home appliance company in Dunleer, Co. Louth, Ireland, announced it will open a global Energy Center at its Dunleer, Ireland site later this year.

The new Glen Dimplex Energy Center, which will cost €2.5 million (approx US $2.5 million) and will employ 20 researchers and engineers, will be dedicated to the research and development of energy efficient products for the Group's Irish and global markets. The Energy Centre will be constructed using renewable and sustainable building materials and will have a showroom with products created by the Group's research and development personnel.
