Viking Range Corporation announced that Owen Williams, its original National Service Manager, is retiring effective Sept. 1, 2007, after 20 years of service to the company. Williams has been with Viking almost since the company's inception, beginning his employment on Aug. 1, 1987, only seven months after Viking first began shipping its products in January of the same year.

When recruited to join Viking, Williams was serving as a Regional Service Manager in Ohio for Chambers Range Company, located in Oxford, MS, U.S., at the time. He also worked in service and service management positions at a number of U.S. companies including Teledyne, Chambers Range Company, and KitchenAid/Whirlpool.
