Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America's President Ed McLaughlin was honored with The Cannata Report's 2007 "Executive of the Year" award in the 22nd Annual Dealer Awards. The Cannata Report is published by Marketing Research Consultants Inc. (MRC), a Glastonbury, CT, US-based consulting firm. The award was given based on the responses received from nearly 300 dealers participating in MRC's 22nd Annual Dealer Survey recognizing McLaughlin's stellar leadership and relentless commitment to dealer support.
The Cannata Report's Annual Dealer Awards are compiled from a survey of independent dealers conducted by Marketing Research Consultants, Inc. The survey weighs market knowledge as well as integrity and effective communication as critical criteria in the selection process.
McLaughlin, an industry veteran with more than 35 years of experience, is responsible for the U.S. sales and marketing of Sharp's broad-based line of multifunctional products, facsimiles and software solutions. He has held sales and management positions with several Fortune 500 companies, including 3M Co., SCM, Saxon Industries, Canon USA and Savin Corp., focusing his expertise on the copier business.
