At the recent International Home and Housewares show in Chicago, Illinois, U.S., Bosch displayed three series of floor care products: the Compact series, the Formula series and the Premium series. The products are said to all bring unsurpassed cleaning performance, superior filtration, creative design, and more flexible handling to American homes. All are now available direct to consumers via Bosch’s new e-commerce Web site, accessible via the brand’s homepage at www.boschappliances.com.
The Compact Series is said to be comprised of models with low noise operation at all power levels. With 11-A/1,200-W motors, these vacuums weigh 9.5 pounds. Each model features a combination roller nozzle for carpeted and hard floors, a two-in-one tool for crevices and upholstery and automatic cord rewind. The series comes in three models, with an MSRP ranging from U.S. $199.99 to $349.99.
The Formula™ canister vacuum functions at 12 amps/1,400 watts and weighs 12 pounds. Utilizing a filter changing mechanism and MEGAfilt SuperTEX TypeG dust bag, the Formula is said to make it easy to change filters and pick up even the most minute dust and dirt. The hygienic filtration system ensures reliable dust retention and vacuum exhaust that is as clean as the ambient air in the household. The compact design and brush attachments are designed to make cleaning hard-to-reach places easier.
The series' two models have an MSRP from $399.99 to $599.99.
Bosch engineers spent 3 years of design and testing to develop the Premium series. The result is said to be a high-performing vacuum that not only improves cleaning effectiveness, but makes vacuuming easier, faster and more comfortable. The OWM said it has cutting-edge filtration along with fingertip controls, while weight of only 13.5 pounds makes them easy to carry and simple to store. Three models are offered with an MSRP from $799.99 to $1,299.99.
