Rheem's Water Heating Division Names Former Maytag Executive President

HVAC maker Rheem Manufacturing Company named R. Craig Breese as president of its Water Heating Division in Montgomery, Alabama, U.S.
Breese succeeds Simon Parfitt, who was promoted to Vice President of Finance, Corporate. Breese has more than 30 years of experience and most recently served as president of Maytag International in Chicago, Illinois, U.S., a position he had held since 2001.
Parfitt joined Rheem in 1996, serving nearly 10 years as vice president and controller of the Water Heating Division before becoming division president last November. In his new position as head of corporate finance, Parfitt will oversee Chris Kapsimalis, vice president - Controller, Corporate; Bob Eichhorn, director of taxes, Corporate; and Tom Morris, senior manager of Internal Audit.
Prior to joining Rheem a decade ago, Parfitt worked 2 years as global materials controller for worldwide manufacturing operations at Applied Materials, Inc., a Santa Clara, California, U.S.-based supplier of products and related services for the semiconductor industry.
Rheem's Water Heating Division, which produces tank-type and tankless units for residential and commercial applications, maintains manufacturing operations in Montgomery as well as two facilities in Mexico -- Nuevo Laredo and Mexicali. All three plants are ISO 9000-certified. The division also has one location in Canada and currently employs approximately 3,400 people in all three countries.
