Bosch Home Appliances (Huntington Beach, California, U.S.) was awarded a 2007 Excellence in Energy Star Promotion Award by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Energy. The award recognizes the brand’s contributions to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by employing low impact manufacturing techniques, promoting energy efficient products and increasing the profile of green building.

Bosch is the only appliance producer to have Energy Star qualification on all its product models in every major appliance category that the program rates.

Bosch will be presented with its 2007 Excellence in Energy Star Promotion Award at a special ceremony in Washington, D.C. on March 21, 2007. The recognition is a culmination of Bosch’s environmental efforts, which includes establishing key partnerships with other leaders in the green building movement, such as the U.S. Green Building Council. Bosch also recently launched an online Green Resource Center to help consumers and builders calculate their immediate savings by using its products.
