Diabetes testing device maker Home Diagnostics, Inc. (Fort Lauderdale, Florida, U.S.) said the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Indiana, Indianapolis Division granted a Summary Judgment ruling in favor of Home Diagnostics for non-infringement and denied the Roche Diagnostics Corporation, Roche Diagnostics Operations, Inc. and Corange International Ltd. motion for a summary judgment of patent infringement in the patent infringement lawsuit over the TrueTrack Smart System® and TrackEase Smart System®.
In their complaint, Roche alleges that the TrueTrack and TrackEase blood glucose monitors infringe on U.S. Patent No. 5,366,609, relating to a biosensing blood glucose monitor with a pluggable memory module.
