Matsushita Endeavors to Drive Sales in Russia, Brazil and India

Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd., best known for its Panasonic brand, today announced the company will establish organizations that focus on boosting sales in Russia, Brazil and India.

As set in the new mid-term plan called the "GP3 Plan," the company aims to achieve double-digit increases in overseas sales, and thereby transform overseas operations into its corporate growth engine. Since the company expects further market expansions in the three countries, it will establish the organizations to enable large sales increases in these areas.

The new organizations will develop corporate-level strategies, devote greater volume of higher-quality management resources in these areas and strategically enhance cooperation with domain companies by making ongoing initiatives visible.
