Inventec to Invest in Czech Republic Plant

Taiwan-based consumer electronics maker Inventec Appliances will invest an estimated U.S. $4 million to establish a wholly owned subsidiary that will set up an assembly plant in the Czech Republic, according to a DigiTimes report.

Inventec says the plant is scheduled to be complete by the end of 2006 and will start production in early 2007.

The subsidiary is tentatively named Inventec Appliances (Czech) s.r.o.
