The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with Conair Corp. (Stamford, Conneticut, U.S.), today announced a voluntary recall of 322,000 curling irons.
The handle of the curling iron can come apart exposing its line cord, posing a shock or electrocution hazard to consumers. So far, no incidents or injuries have been reported.
The recall involves ceramic, gold-matte finish curling irons. Date codes included in this recall range from November 2005 through July 2006.
