Winch Kits Used in Deere Vehicles Recalled Jan 9, 2007 |

In voluntary cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Warn Industries, Inc. is recalling certain winch kits containing 8-post contactors. The 8-post contactor may fail, resulting in excessive heat. Under rare circumstances, this could potentially create a fire. Two John Deere all-terrain vehicles incorporate these winch kits: the Buck EX Utility ATV and the Trail Buck 650 EX Utility ATV.
