Canon Announces Senior Management Changes May 11, 2006 |

Business appliance maker Canon Inc. announced its board of directors approved that Fujio Mitarai, former chairman, president and CEO, will become the chairman and CEO. Tsuneji Uchida, former executive vice president, will become president and chief operating officer.
The changes were approved at the company's board meeting held today and are effective as of May 23, 2006.
