Parrot, Inc. (Paris) is expanding it hands-free Bluetooth(R) technology for automobile use into home applications. New products launched in early April at the CTIA Wireless 2006 exposition in Las Vegas include the Parrot Photo Viewer, allowing the user to transfer photos from a Bluetooth camera phone wirelessly to a digital photo frame.
The Parrot Sound System is designed as an innovative solution for listening to digital audio wirelessly, but without headphones. The system incorporates two speakers with integrated Class-D digital amplifiers, and it is designed to work with every type of A2DP Bluetooth source: mobile phones, PDAs, MP3 players, and Bluetooth-equipped PC and Apple computers. An analog connection can also be used to play audio from traditional audio players.
